Outreach Ministry

We have a very active outreach
ministry.  In January 2008, we kicked
off the Outreach Ministry by canvas-
sing the neighborhoods near Pope
Drive Baptist Church.  We passed out
fliers, prayed for anyone who asked
we pray, and simply let people know
God loves them. 

Today, we have three teams.  The
Outreach Ministry Teams meets from
7:00pm to 8:15pm on one of the first
three Tuesdays of each month
(see calender).  During this time, the team members will target five groups of people:

  • Homebound church members
  • Hospital and families in crisis
  • Non-attending church members
  • New Christians
  • Prospects and visitors
Team members have the option to participate by either card/letter writing or
person-to-person visitation.  One can choose which they are more comfortable
doing.  Visitation will always be at least two people.
